Why should I come to the Belt Ceremony?

You may have asked yourself at one time or another, "Why do we need to go to the Belt Ceremony?" If this question has crossed your mind, please know that there are many reasons that you should attend the Belt Ceremony every testing cycle.

First, you, or your child, have accomplished something positive and you need to celebrate that personal victory! Be proud of your accomplishment! It is nice to share your victories with others who unerstand the efforts you put into gaining a new rank.

Belt Ceremony is also a time to gain knowledge. Announcements are often made at the ceremony that you need to hear! Attending the ceremony assures that you are not left out of the information loop. You can also learn something about the history of Tae Kwon Do! Ms Piper always shares something interesting about our history during the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony also assures that you acquire your new rank in a timely manner. Class does not always allow time for such presentations and you may have to wait for your results.

The Belt Ceremony is an important event for our school. Make plans to attend the next ceremony so that you can join the celebration, learn something, and don't forget... eat some cookie!!
